Terms of Use
Last updated: July 30, 2026
Conditions for using OSP’s public website and our service channels
These Terms govern the use of the ospcontabilidade.com.br website and the service channels accessed through it.
The website is operated by Organização Souza e Pagotto S/S Ltda, Brazilian taxpayer ID (CNPJ) 49.431.299/0001-28, registered with the Regional Accounting Council of São Paulo and operating under the OSP brand.
By browsing the website, using our free tools or contacting us through our channels, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
1. What these Terms cover — and what they do not
They cover the use of the public website: browsing, educational content, the free calculators and simulators, downloadable materials and contact through our channels.
They do not cover the provision of accounting services. If you are an OSP client, our relationship is governed by the service agreement we signed — scope, deadlines, deliverables, fees, liability and termination are set out there, and the agreement prevails. Nothing in this document extends, reduces or replaces what was contracted.
This website does not constitute a binding offer. Information about services is commercial and informative in nature; any engagement depends on a formal proposal and a signed agreement.
2. Use of the website
You may use the website to learn about our services, access educational content, use the free tools and get in touch with us.
You may not:
- use the website for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose
- attempt unauthorised access to systems, data or networks
- transmit viruses, malware or malicious code
- collect other users’ data
- use bots, scraping or automated scripts to extract content in bulk
- reproduce our content commercially or present it as your own
Quoting excerpts and sharing our content with attribution and a link to the source is permitted and welcome.
3. Free calculators and simulators
The website offers free tax simulation tools — comparing tax regimes, estimating the tax burden under Brazil’s Tax Reform, calculating fees, among others.
How they work. They operate on public parameters, current rates and general rules, based on the data you provide. They produce an estimate to inform the conversation — not a tax calculation.
What they are not. They are not tax assessments, they are not tax planning, and they do not replace a professional’s analysis of your company. The result ignores particularities that often change the outcome: tax benefits, tax substitution, revenue composition, credits, assessment regime, and state and municipal legislation, among others.
Legislation changes. Brazilian tax rules — particularly those of the Tax Reform — are in transition, with supplementary regulations still being issued. A simulation run today may not hold tomorrow.
The decision is yours. You should not make tax, corporate or investment decisions based solely on the result of a simulation. OSP is not liable for decisions taken on the sole basis of these tools. If the number matters, talk to us or to your accountant.
4. Educational content and the limits of our guidance
Articles, materials, spreadsheets and answers given through our channels are informative and educational in nature. They reflect our understanding as at the date of publication and do not constitute a formal opinion, personalised advice or a recommendation for your case.
The information in this content is educational in nature and does not constitute individualised legal or tax advice. Consult a qualified professional for an analysis of your specific case.
OSP is an accounting organisation, registered with the CRC and regulated by Brazil’s Federal Accounting Council. We provide accounting, tax bookkeeping, payroll, tax consulting, preventive tax planning and technical support in administrative tax proceedings.
We are not a law firm. Court representation, formal appeals, legal opinions with binding force, signing legal defences and guarantees as to the outcome of litigation are the remit of a lawyer. Where the matter requires it, we refer you to a qualified professional.
5. Contacting us through our channels
You can reach us through the website, by email, by phone and on WhatsApp.
Virtual assistant. The first contact on WhatsApp may be handled by a virtual assistant powered by artificial intelligence, which identifies itself as such. It welcomes you, answers initial questions and hands you over to a member of our team.
The assistant’s answers are generated by artificial intelligence and may contain inaccuracies. They do not constitute a commercial proposal, a technical opinion or a commitment by OSP. Any relevant information should be confirmed with our team, and you may ask to speak to a person at any time.
What we do with these conversations. We keep the history to continue assisting you and so that our team can review it and improve the service. We do not use your conversations to train artificial intelligence models, nor are the AI vendors we use authorised to do so with our data.
Phone calls with our commercial team may be recorded and transcribed — details are in the Privacy Policy.
6. Intellectual property
The website’s content — text, images, video, materials, spreadsheets, code and the logic of the tools — belongs to OSP or its licensors and is protected by copyright law.
The OSP brand and the other trademarks displayed belong to their respective owners. Unauthorised use is prohibited.
Materials offered for download may be used freely within your company. They may not be resold, redistributed as your own product, or altered to remove authorship.
7. Limitation of liability
Availability. We work to keep the website online, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or freedom from errors. We may suspend or change the website, in whole or in part, for technical or maintenance reasons.
Third-party content. The website contains links to third-party sites — including our careers portal, operated by Sólides. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of those third parties.
Damages. To the fullest extent permitted by law, OSP is not liable for indirect damages, loss of profits or losses arising from the use of, or inability to use, the website and the free tools.
Nothing in this section excludes liability that the law does not allow to be excluded, nor the rights afforded by the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code to anyone qualifying as a consumer.
8. Privacy
The processing of personal data collected through the website is described in our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, on what legal basis, whom we share it with and how to exercise your rights.
Questions, requests and complaints about data: privacidade@osp.com.br.
9. Changes
We may change these Terms at any time. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with the update date at the top. Significant changes will be flagged on the website.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Brazilian law.
The Courts of the City of Campinas, State of São Paulo are elected to settle disputes arising from these Terms, without prejudice to a consumer’s right to bring proceedings in the courts of their own domicile, under the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code.
